# Adding Details

> Add details to your envy profile

# Overview

Go to the profile page first by clicking "Customize" -> "Profile" and go to the top.
This guide shows you how to add details to your profile.

# Profile Details

Fill in all the fields with the appropriate data you desire. All fields are optional except for the enter text.

The **editor** field is a special field which supports formatting. The formatting guide is available by clicking "Formatting Guide" under the section. The preview field will show you what your description will look like *after* the formatting is applied.

# Profile Visibility

Change how your profile looks by toggling on or off some detail fields. This does not remove them, and you can always turn them back on to show whenever you would like to.

  Use **maintenance mode** to apply an "Under Construction" sign to your profile. This is useful if you are editing your profile and would not like others to see in the middle of it.
